I think a few little changes can make a big difference in how a space feels. My fireplace was looking a little sad. This gate came with the home and it's pretty old and run down (I'm happy to get rid of it). The toy basket is for my little sweetie, but it can go back in her room for now. The poufs are from a friend of mine that sent them from Morocco! Baby girl loves them and actually they are a perfect height for a little seat for her. I bought these shells to go on the coffee table but once I got them home I thought they looked great in the fireplace! The driftwood and air plant give some dimension and life to the shells. I live in Florida and never use it so I think the shells are a nice alternative to candles or other options I've seen. Do you guys have any interesting ideas for empty fireplaces?
